HFU's
Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks after helping lead Tigers to a 2-0 record with back-to-back eight-goal performances.
She added assists in both contests to tie her career-high in both goals and points.
Shields was previously named CACC Player of the Week on March
20, and she also received the honor once as a freshman.
The sophomore first had double the amount of goals as any other player, including netting the eventual game-winner with a
behind-the-back score with 4:06 left, as HFU came back from a 10-goal deficit to shock Jefferson on Tuesday.
Shields then scored eight more in the Tigers' 23-3 victory at Caldwell on Friday.
