Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for two performances that included the Tigers' league-opening win at Post on Saturday.
It is the sophomore's fourth career weekly honor from the conference, including her second Player of the Week award.
Shields scored 11 times in the two games, highlighted by a career-best eight-goal performance against the Eagles. She also led HFU with three caused turnovers while tallying two ground balls, an assist and a draw control.
The sophomore began the week recording a hat trick versus Molloy on Thursday, before adding a team-high two caused turnovers and an assist for a career-best nine points on Saturday.
