The HFU Women's Basketball Team was one of 10 teams in the East Region to feature in the first installment of the NCAA Regional Rankings that were released on Wednesday.
The NCAA Regional Rankings ultimately determine the eight teams from each of the eight regions that qualify for the NCAA Tournament, which will be announced on Sunday, March 7.
The first week features team listed in alphabetical order, while the second and third rankings - released each of the next two Wednesdays - will be ordered one through 10.
The NCAA East Region features the 30 teams from Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), East Coast Conference (ECC) and Northeast 10 (NE10).
Joining Holy Family in the rankings from the CACC was Felician, who the Tigers notably host on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The NE10 led the way with six teams, including American International, Assumption, Bentley, Saint Anselm, Saint Michael's and Southern Connecticut State.
The ECC was represented Daemen and Mercy.
