Women’s Lacrosse Travels to Southern Connecticut State

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Holy Family University women's lacrosse team traveled to Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday, falling to the Owls 3-22. 
 
Individual Highlights
  • Lexi Ryan (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) and Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) both tied game-highs with two caused turnovers and two ground balls apiece
    • Ryan matched Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) with a team-high four draw controls
    • Pugh now ranks eighth in program with 120 career ground balls
  • Gwen Varley (East Earl, Pa./Garden Spot) notably scored her first career goal
  • Also scoring were Shields and Taina Harkins (Hopewell, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central)
