WILMINGTON, Del. – The HFU Volleyball Team prevailed in five sets (22-25, 25-21, 27-25, 23-25, 15-9) over top-seed Post in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Semifinal hosted at Goldey-Beacom on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers trailed for just one point in the decisive fifth, at 0-1, before coming back with six of the next seven as both
Morgan Marziani-Radomski (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora) and
Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) recorded aces.
When the Eagles made it 6-3,
Mackenzie Layton (Clarksboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional) recorded four straight kills for a 10-3 edge.
Post got as close as three on three occasions, but Holy Family would end the match with the final three points as a
Keira Rogan (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) service ace sent the Tigers to the final.

- Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)) contributed nine kills

How it Happened
- HFU led 22-20 in the first set following kills from Kidd and Kinzer, only to have Post rattle off the final five points
- The Tigers never trailed in the second, breaking a 20-20 tie with five of the final six points thanks to three errors from the Eagles
- Holy Family then staved off four sets points in the third, closing on a 6-1 flurry as Layton produced both a kill and a service ace in the stretch
- The Tigers carried that momentum in the fourth, scoring the first five points on Marziani-Radomski's serve as Kinzer tallied two kills, but Post would close the set on a 2-6 run to send the match to a fifth
