WILMINGTON, Del. – The HFU Volleyball Team came back from a set down twice, but the Tigers would eventually fall to Bridgeport in five sets (21-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 9-15) in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Championship Match hosted at Goldey-Beacom on Sunday afternoon.

Individual Highlights
- Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington), Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)) and Mia Wise (Genoa, Ill./Genoa-Kingston) were named to the All-Tournament Team
- Kinzer recorded her second consecutive double-double with 11 digs and 10 kills
- Kidd topped the Tigers with a career-high 21 kills on .425 hitting
- Wise led all players with 59 assists and added a season-best 14 digs for her 10th double-double of the year
- Kalia Espenlaub (New Market, Md./Saint John's Catholic Prep (Millersville)) set a new season-best with 14 kills, while leading HFU with four blocks
- Mackenzie Layton (Clarksboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional) made it four Tigers in double-figures with 12 kills
- Leah Logan (Bloomfield, N.J./Abundant Life Academy) had eight kills and three blocks

- Holy Family led by as many as six three times in the first set, including at 18-12, but UB would tally 11 of the next 12 points en route to taking the early lead
- The Tigers overcame a 10-14 deficit in the second, breaking an 18-18 tie with a 6-1 surge that featured three kills from Layton
- Holy Family was up 14-13 in the third, only to have the Purple Knights take six of the next seven points en route to going up 1-2
- Tied at 17 in the fourth, four straight points began a 6-1 run that eventually sent the match to a decisive fifth
- The Tigers led 3-2 and 4-3 in the fifth, but UB would take control with five of the next six points
