NEW CASTLE, Del. – The Holy Family University bowling team opened its New Year at the Northeast Classic over the weekend.
Maria Hindman (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) led the Tigers with an average 176.6 pins in traditional play on Saturday, followed closely by
Tiffany McNally's (Philadelphia, Pa/Archbishop Ryan) average of 173.8.
McNally also had a team-best 220 pins in a matchup with Niagara in which HFU totaled a weekend-high 835 pins.
Also competing over the weekend was
Shayla Hess (Churchville, Pa./Council Rock South) (average of 148.0 pins),
Emily Simpson (Levittown, N.J./Neshaminy) (141.75),
Sarah Winder (Burlington, N.J./Burlington Township) (135.0),
Corin Stewart (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter) (126.7) and
Brigidmarie Ferreira (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter) (126.0).
