MOUNT JOY, Pa. - For the second weekend in a row the HFU Bowling Team won five matches at a tournament, as the Tigers competed at the Mount Shootout hosted at Clearview Lanes from Feb. 6-8.
Holy Family notably defeated Howard three times, including twice (4-0 and 4-2) in bracket play on Sunday.
The Tigers first win of the weekend came against the Bison too, 883-834, in baker play on Friday.
Holy Family was also victorious over Wagner (818-556) and Alvernia (952-870) in traditional play on Saturday.
Maria Hindman (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) led the Tigers with 950 pins, an average of 190.0, in traditional play, highlighted by a 267 in a 1019-1082 setback to Mercyhurst. She notably ranked 37th out of 85 individuals in total pins.
Addyson Given (Philadelphia, Pa./George Washington) was second on HFU with 881 total pins, while
Shayla Hess (Churchville, Pa./Council Rock South) was second with a 181.0 average.
Also competing for the Tigers were

Catherine Cosden (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) (167.0) and
