Women’s Soccer Welcomes Seven to Program

Holy Family University Head Women's Soccer Coach Jill Reeves is excited to welcome seven newcomers – six freshman and one transfer – to the program.

Amelia Brown | 5-6 | D | Huntingdon Valley, Pa. | Lower Moreland High School | Huntingdon Valley Athletics Association (HVAA) | Nursing

"I chose Holy Family so I could play soccer at a higher level while also pursuing a nursing degree. HFU also has a very welcoming and positive environment that I am excited to be a part of."

Bridget Dickson | 5-4 | F | Somerdale, N.J. | Sterling High School | Cherry Hill FC | Early Education

"I chose Holy Family because it felt like the perfect fit for me. I loved how competitive the team was and how comfortable the coaches made me feel. I can't wait to be a part of such a supportive and positive program."

Aiva McLinden | 5-2 | D/F | Philadelphia, Pa. | Franklin Towne Charter High School | Ukrainian Nationals | Undecided

"I chose Holy Family because I wanted to stay close to family and friends. I also believe that the school can get me to where I want to be in life when it's time for me to graduate college and enter the real world. I've heard nothing but good things about the school.
Watching HFU and even getting to meet and play with some of the players in the past was so inspiring. Over the years soccer has been harder than ever, and it's my hope that playing for my past coach Jill, along with the girls on the team, will help me get back my love for the game again."

Kyleigh Murphy | 5-4 | M | Bensalem, Pa. | MaST Community Charter School | Huntingdon Valley Athletics Association (HVAA) | Radiologic Science

"I chose Holy Family because I like the size of the campus, and it allows me to stay close to my family and friends. I've heard nothing but positive things about their athletic department. I can't wait to play soccer with the team and compete at a top level."

Katelyn Perazzola | 5-5 | D/F | Warner Robins, Ga. | Mount de Sales Academy | Legion FC | Accounting

"I saw what a great academic and athletic program they have. I could never pick between track and soccer, and Holy Family gave me the option of doing both. I've also always wanted to go up north and experience what life is like, while being with my family, up there. I'm excited to play for this team and meet my new teammates!"

Gyzell Rowan | 5-2 | M | Levittown, Pa. | Neshaminy High School | Bucks County Community College | FC Bucks | Criminal Justice

"Being around campus and watching the soccer program over the past few years has made me realize that this is the school I want to be at. I have had the privilege to watch this team play a great number of times, and seeing the competitiveness and togetherness of the program has made me want to be a part of that."

Jessica Wojnar | 5-4 | F | Cinnaminson, N.J. | Holy Cross Preparatory Academy | Cherry Hill SC | Early Education

"I chose Holy Family as my next soccer home because the program was very welcoming to me. Everyone is close and very supportive, and I am excited to play at the collegiate level!"
