ORANGEBURG, N.Y. –
Bridget Dickson (Somerdale, N.J./Sterling) became the first Division II student-athlete to score four times against a Division II opponent this season, as the HFU Women's Soccer completed a 2-0 week in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play with a 4-2 win at Dominican on Saturday afternoon.
The junior netted twice on either side of halftime, the first of which came just 25 seconds after the Chargers had opened the scoring 8:45 in.
She then put Holy Family ahead 2-1in the 28th minute, before converting the eventual game winner just 3:23 out of the half.
Having already secured her first collegiate hat trick, Dickson put an exclamation on the performance in the 64th.
She becomes fourth Tiger in the CACC's Division II era to score four goals, joining Melissa Gamble, Jamie-Lynn Wallace and Bree Rock.
Amelia Brown (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) provided an assist for the second match in a row, while
Emma Brady (Holley, N.Y./Holley (Genesee Community College)) and
Kayla Dunn (Mount Ephraim, N.J./Camden Catholic (Shippensburg)) notably picked up their first assists at HFU.
Holy Family outshot Dominican 27-9 on the afternoon and held a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Jaina Preuhs (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) made three saves in the victory.
