IWLCA Release
For the second year in a row, the HFU women's lacrosse team was esteemed an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), with five Tigers also earning a spot on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for a second straight year.
Seniors
Maura Coleman (Lower Moreland, Pa./Little Flower),
Yasmine Machlof (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) and
Mackenzie Santucci (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional (RCBC)) all received the accolade for a second time, while juniors
Kaitlyn Bromley (Philadelphia, Pa./New Foundations Charter School) and
Caitlyn Musick (Bensalem, Pa./Conwell-Egan Catholic) were honored in their first year of eligibility.
To qualify as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad a team must have posted a 3.2 or higher grade-point average (GPA) for the academic year, while to be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
Holy Family women's lacrosse earned a 3.43 team GPA in 2021-22.
It was recently
announced that the Tigers were second in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) eight All-Academic recipients.
