Philadelphia, Pa. - The Holy Family University women's lacrosse team snapped its three game losing steak after defeating visiting Caldwell College by the score of 20-2 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on Sunday afternoon at Tiger Field.

Holy Family improves to 3-7 overall and 3-3 in the CACC, while Caldwell is now 0-6 overall and in conference play.

Nine players from Holy Family scored in the victory as junior
Christina Bonomo (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) led the way with a game-high four goals. Senior
Brigit LaRose (Lumberton, N.J./Holy Cross) totaled a game-high five points after scoring three goals and assisting on two others. Sophomore
Nicole Braungart (Medford, N.J./Bishop Eustace) also scored three goals for the Tigers.

Junior
Kimber Kisselback (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) scored her first two goals of the season as well as picking up three ground balls and causing a pair of turnovers on defense. Freshman
Kacie Booth (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) led the team with five ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Junior
Sarah Kelly (Washington Twp., N.J./Washington Twp.) finished with three points (2G/1A) and controlled a game-high five draws. Junior
Caitlin Carrezola (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) totaled four ground balls, while sophomore
Erin Harmer (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) totaled four points (2G/2A) and two draw controls.

For Caldwell, freshmen Kirsten Whitt and Christina Gonzalez each tallied a score for the Cougars. Whitt finished with a game-high five draws to go along with two ground balls. Freshman Miranda Harrington had a team-high three ground balls and caused a turnover on defense, while freshman Amy Hudak recorded a pair of ground balls and caused one turnover.

Sophomore
Paige Settar (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) scored the game's first goal to open the scoring at the 27:39 mark before Caldwell tied the game at 1-1 less than a minute later. Holy Family responded with seven straight goals over a 12-minute span to take a commanding 8-1 lead by the 8:03 mark.

The Tigers went on to lead by double-digits in the closing seconds of the first half when Kisselback connected on her first score of the season as the horn sounded to signify the end of the half. The Tigers led at halftime, 14-2.

Holy Family outshot Caldwell, 23-7, in the first half and forced 13 turnovers on defense. The Tigers' defense went on to limit the Cougars to only two shots the entire second half and forced another ten turnovers resulting in 23 for the game.

Holy Family also controlled the draw, 15-8, and ground balls by a 28-13 margin.

In the second half, Holy Family outscored Caldwell, 8-0. Bonomo scored three of the final four goals for the Tigers in the final 11-plus minutes.

Freshman goalkeeper Adria Ostafi made ten saves in net for Caldwell, while sophomore
Grace Deckert (Jarrettsville, Md./Fallston) made three saves after facing only nine shots.

Holy Family is back in action on Monday, April 7 as the Tigers host Kutztown University in a non-conference contest. Game time is slated for 4 p.m.
