Holy Family responded with an equalizing goal from Settar to tie the game at 7-7.  However, Philadelphia went on to score four straight goals in a six-minute span to take an 11-7 advantage after Parent capped the scoring with a goal at the 19:39 mark.

Despite the deficit, Holy Family came soaring back scoring six of the next seven goals in the game to recapture the lead at 13-12.  Lancetta helped the surge scoring three of the team's six goals as the Tigers led by one score with 11:32 to play.

Lancetta scored minutes later to cut the lead to 17-14 with 2:25 remaining on the clock, but that would be the final score of the day for the Tigers as Philadelphia held on to the victory.
