Radnor, Pa. - The Holy Family University women's lacrosse team had seven players score multiple goals as the Tigers defeated visiting Post University by the score of 20-6 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on Saturday afternoon at Dixon Field on the campus of Cabrini College.

Holy Family improves to 2-4 overall and 2-1 in the CACC with the victory, while Post is now 2-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

The Tigers led the entire way controlling all aspects of the game. Holy Family held the advantage in shots (42-13), ground balls (29-15) and draw controls (18-10).Â

Holy Family jumped out to a 7-0 lead as seven different players tallied goals for the Tigers in the first 19 minutes of action. Post eventually broke through as senior Meghan Diggett tallied the team's first of two goals of the half at the 7:37 mark. Diggett finished the game with three goals.

Freshman
Nicole Mansi (Turnersville, N.J./) led the Tigers with a pair of goals in the first half to give Holy Family an 8-2 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Post scored the three of the first four goals of the half to cut the Holy Family lead to 9-5. Junior Miranda Polaski scored two of her three second-half goals within the first five minutes of the half to help fuel the Eagles rally.

However, Holy Family halted the Eagles surge and went on to score 11 unanswered goals to take a commanding 20-5 lead entering the final minute. Junior
Brigit LaRose (Lumberton, N.J./Holy Cross) started the Tigers' run with back-to-back scores as she finished the game with two goals and one assist to go along with three caused turnovers on defense.

The Tigers' defenders forced 24 turnovers and caused ten. Junior
Kimber Kisselback (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) and sophomore
Paige Settar (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) each caused two turnovers. Settar was also one of three players to score three goals for the Tigers. Senior Mariss Lawson and sophomore
Nicole Braungart (Medford, N.J./Bishop Eustace) each tallied three scores in the victory.

Junior
Brianna Lancetta (Marlton, N.J./Bishop Eustace) finished with a team-high four points after scoring two goals and assisting on two others. She also finished with six draw controls, while Settar totaled a team-high seven draws as the Tigers controlled 18 of the game's 28 draws.

Christina Bonomo (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) finished with three points (2G/1A) as she was a perfect 2-for-2 on free position shots. Sophomore
Grace Deckert (Jarrettsville, Md./Fallston) picked up the win in net for the Tigers as she made four saves after facing only 13 shots.

Senior Kathy Walker totaled 16 saves in net for the Post after facing a season-high 42 shots by the Tigers. Holy Family also recorded a season-high 29 ground balls and turned the ball over a season-low 11 times. The defense forced a season-high 24 turnovers.Â

Holy Family is back in action on Tuesday, March 25 as the Tigers host Dominican College in a CACC contest. Game time is slated for 4 p.m.
