The HFU Women's Lacrosse Women's Team was fifth in the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Preseason Coaches Poll, released by the league offices on Friday.
The top six teams in the regular season standings qualify for the CACC Tournament, which commences with the first round hosted at higher seeds on April 26.
The top two seeds, who receive a first round bye, will host the semifinals on April 30, with the final scheduled for May 2 at Wilmington.
Holy Family has qualified for the CACC Tournament in five consecutive seasons.
Defending champion Dominican was the near-unanimous preseason favorite, receiving eight of a possible nine first-place votes.
Second place Jefferson and third place Wilmington split the remaining two, with Georgian Court rounding out the top four in front of HFU.
Holy Family opens its 2026 season hosting Southern Connecticut State on Feb. 22 at 11 a.m.
The Tigers begins CACC play on March 21 when it welcomes Post to Philadelphia.
