Aalyce Davis (Philadelphia, Pa./Bethel Baptist Academy) has been named the first-ever Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Player of the Year, the league offices announced on Tuesday.
In addition to being voted the Player of the Year, she was also an All-AEC honoree on both offense and defense.
Davis was instrumental in helping the Tigers win four games in their inaugural season.
A two-time AEC Offensive Player of the Week, she averaged nearly 100 all-purpose yards per game with 715 rushing yards and five touchdowns and 395 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Davis also threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns.
Defensively, she recorded 60 tackles, three interceptions, three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and a sack over 12 games.
