PHILADELPHIA - The Holy Family University Flag Football Team shutout both Chestnut Hill (34-0) and Penn State Schuylkill (26-0) in action at Tiger Field on Sunday.
Alannis Clavel-Lopez (Philadelphia, Pa./Abraham Lincoln) led the defensive effort with 11 flag pulls, five of which were sacks.
Morgan Sims (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) added 12 tackles and two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, while
Alexis Tina McLeod (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) had eight tackles and two interceptions.
Saviyah Campbell (Philadelphia, Pa./Reach Cyber Charter School) also intercepted a pass.
Offensively,
Aalyce Davis (Philadelphia, Pa./Bethel Baptist Academy) totaled six touchdowns, four through the air and two more on the ground. She ran for 271 yards and threw for 147 more.
Kylie Cooley (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Huberts Catholic) caught two touchdowns, while McLeod and
Delaney Minnich (Philadelphia, Pa./Abraham Lincoln) each caught one, the first of the latter's career.
Kierann Cusick (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) and Clavel-Lopez each rushed for a score.
