Flag Football Defeated by Top Seed Eastern in AEC Tournament Semifinal

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - The HFU Flag Football Team's season came to an end with a 6-36 defeat to top seed Eastern in the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Tournament Semifinals on Saturday morning.  
 
Holy Family, making its first-ever postseason appearance, qualified for the semifinal after upsetting Neumann in the first round on Tuesday night. 
 
Aalyce Davis (Philadelphia, Pa./Bethel Baptist Academy) connected with a Alexis Tina McLeod (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) for a 64-yard touchdown in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 6-22 with 7:33 remaining in the third quarter, but the Eagles would respond with a a 66-yard run less than two minutes later. 
 
Alannis Clavel-Lopez (Philadelphia, Pa./Abraham Lincoln) had more than double the amount of tackles as any other player with a season-best 12, while also topping the Tigers with 61 rushing yards. 
 
McLeod and Morgan Sims (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) had the game's second highest total with five flag pulls apiece.
