Alexis Letizia (Toms River, N.J./Donovan Catholic) was a repeat All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) honoree, and she was joined on the second team by teammate
Rylee Hobel (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh), the league offices announced on Monday.
Letizia, a catcher, led the conference in throwing out runners attempting to steal by a wide margin with 14, with her nine in league play more than doubling any other player.
At the plate, the senior ranked in the top 14 of the CACC in slugging percentage (.590), hits (30), RBI (18), doubles (7) and home runs (3) during conference play. For the season, she was top 13 in the league in RBI (27), home runs (4) and doubles (12), the latter of which is now tied for fifth in the program's single-season history.
Letizia led HFU with 69 total bases, was second in RBI, home runs, doubles and hits (45), and third in batting average (.336), runs (21) and slugging percentage (.515).
Hobel is a first time All-CACC honoree as an outfielder after tying for the conference lead with 38 hits during league play. She was also 10th with a .432 batting average and 11th with 20 runs scored.
Overall, the senior ranked seventh in the CACC with 57 hits and 13th with a .370 batting average and 31 runs scored, all of which topped the Tigers. She is now seventh and tied for 10th, respectively, in the program's single-season history in hits and runs scored.
In addition to leading HFU in hits, batting average and runs, Hobel joined Letizia with 69 total bases and toped the Tigers with a .407 on-base percentage. She was second in walks (11) and triples (2) and third in RBI (19) and doubles (8).
