Casey Murphy (Merion Station, Pa./Lower Merion (Ursinus College)) has been named the penultimate Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Pitcher of the Week, the league offices announced on Monday. 
 
Is the graduate student's second career CACC Pitcher of the Week award. 
 
Murphy went 2-0 with a 1.13 ERA in two appearances, allowing just one run on four hits - with six strikeouts and no walks - over eight innings.
 
He began the week with a complete game win over CACC North champion Dominican on Wednesday, in which he surrendered just one run on three hits with six strikeouts and no walks.
 
Murphy then threw a scoreless inning of relief to earn another win versus Lincoln on Sunday.
