For the first time in program history, HFU Baseball had two student-athletes –
Jorden Sesar (Morrisville, Pa./Morrisville (Manhattan University)) and
Ryan McLaughlin (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem (Manhattan University)) - voted All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the league offices announced on Wednesday.
Jorden Sesar (Morrisville, Pa./Morrisville (Manhattan University)) – All-CACC Conference First Team
During CACC play, Sesar struck out 15 more batters than any other player as he finished the conference campaign with 59.
The senior was also second in opposing batting average (.189), third in earned run average (2.51) and sixth in innings pitched (43.0) during conference play.
Overall, Sesar currently ranks seventh in Division II with a league-leading 12.38 strikeouts per nine innings.
Ryan McLaughlin (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem (Manhattan University)) – All-CACC Second Team
McLaughlin ranks third in the CACC with both a 3.70 ERA and 65.2 innings pitched, and he was also top 10 in the conference with 57 strikeouts and a .272 opposing batting average.
In addition to leading Holy Family in ERA and innings pitched, the graduate student topped the Tigers the 12 starts and three wins too.
