HFU has placed the maximum possible five student-athletes on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Baseball Team®.
Earning the honor were
Jelle Bing (Heerhugowaard, Netherlands/CSG Jan Arentsz (McCook CC)),
Ryan McLaughlin (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem (Manhattan University)),
Torin McKenzie (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham (Mercer County CC)),
Logan Mote (Branchburg, N.J./Gill St. Bernard's School (Lackawanna College)) and
Andres Rivera (Silver Spring, Md./Woodrow Wilson (Montgomery College)).
CSC Academic All-District Teams® recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
To be eligible for the 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, a student-athlete must:
- have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average
- be at least a sophomore academically and athletically
- compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games played
- for pitchers, have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings
