VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Holy Family University men's soccer team had the opportunity to play at Division I Villanova on Tuesday afternoon.
The Wildcats scored twice in the opening 9:22 before adding four goals in the second half for a 0-6 final.
The Tigers had opportunities to score, totaling 15 attempts and six shots on net.
Lucca Saad (São Paulo, Brazil/The Phelps School) was denied twice, with
Dimitri Lekishvili (Aspindza, Georgia/192 Public School),
Ricardo Paniccia Giraldez (O Porriño, Spain/IES Pino Manso),
Aristide Sanon (Paris, France/Max Linder) and
Rafael Gouvea (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil/Life Center Academy) also firing on frame.
Joey Phillips (Levittown, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) started in net for Holy Family, tying a season-high with six saves.
