HFU softball's
Alexis Letizia (Toms River, N.J./Donovan Catholic) and
Kinsley Hall (Frankford, Del./Indian River (Mount Olive)) have both been voted All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Second Team, the league offices announced on Monday.
Letizia ranked fourth in conference play with 26 RBI, while her team-leading 36 for the year was sixth in the CACC and moved her into a tie for seventh in the program's Division II era.
The junior also topped the Tigers with a .358 batting average, which improved to .365 during league play, and she was top-three on the team with five doubles, a .425 slugging percentage and a .381 on-base percentage.
Letizia's most notable performance of the year came in a doubleheader sweep of Chestnut Hill on April 7, when she finished 6-for-8 with 7 RBI, a double and a run scored.
Hall ranks top five in the conference in earned run average (2.47), strikeouts (122), strikeouts per game (7.72) and batting average against (.217), all of which are top-eight in the program's Division II era.
The freshman finished the season 7-7 over 20 appearances, 16 of which were starts as she threw 11 complete games.
Hall ended the year with six straight completes games, most notably of which was a one-hit shutout at Felician on April 21.
