Holy Family University women's soccer's
Lexi Murphy (Woolwich Township, N.J./Kingsway Regional (Saint Francis U)) has repeated as All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Second Team, the league offices announced today.
The senior defender led HFU with 1,361 minutes played this season, as she was one of three Tigers to start at least 16 matches and one of five to appear in all 17. She also ranked top three on the team in both goals (2) and assists (2).
Murphy began the campaign with a goal against nationally-ranked West Chester in HFU's season-opener on Sept. 5. Her other goal came in a shutout of Lincoln on Sept. 18, and she also assisted the only goal in the Tigers' shutout at Felician on Oct. 19.
Holy Family's defense notably ranked top five in the conference in goals allowed during league play, as the Tigers qualified for a 26th consecutive CACC Tournament.
