Anthony Faust (Pennsauken, N.J./Bishop Eustace Prep) has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week for a third time this season, the league offices announced on Tuesday.
The Pennsauken, N.J. also collected the award on Sept. 6 and Sept. 20.
Faust neared a third consecutive top-10 finish in a field of 189 at the NJIT Highlander Cross Country Challenge on Saturday, placing 14th after completing the 8K course in a collegiate personal record of 26:43.
He was the second freshman to cross, finishing just nine seconds behind a rookie from Division I Seton Hall.
