EWING, N.J. – The HFU Men's Cross Country Team placed third at the Herb Lorenz Invitational hosted by TCNJ on Friday, as six of the seven Tigers to run set new collegiate PRs.
Holy Family notably finished ahead of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe Caldwell, while the host Lions claimed the team title.
- Andrae Johnson (Egg Harbor City, N.J./Oakcrest) led the Tigers with a 29th place finish in the field of 66, completing the 6K course in a collegiate PR 21:48.3
- Emmanuel Power (Brooklyn, N.Y./La Salle Academy) finished one position out of the top half of the field in a collegiate PR 22:13.6
- Jermaine Fender (Kingston, Jamaica/Jamaica College) (collegiate PR 22:25.7) and Gavin Dwyer (Bensalem, Pa./Father Judge) (22:31.3) crossed back-to-back
- Also setting collegiate PRs on the day were Kimani Smith (Smithville, Jamaica/Edwin Allen) (24:07.0), Benjamin Sun (New York City, N.Y./Northeast) (24:10.0) and Max Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) (26:55.1)
