FLUSHING, N.Y. – A 10-man HFU men's soccer team battled before ultimately being downed 2-0 at Queens on Tuesday night, putting an end to the Tigers' seven-match unbeaten run.
Playing up a man since the 53rd minute, the Knights finally broke through with two goals in the span of 1:22 in the 74th and 76th minutes.
Holy Family was seeking its first eight-match unbeaten streak since 1998.

- Tyler Myers (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) tied a season-high with four saves in net
- Lautaro Berisso (La Plata, Argentina/(Camden County CC)) and Gavin Rowan (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) were the only two student-athletes with two shots on goal

How it Happened
First Half
- The Knights had the first three shots, all of which were off frame in the opening 7:42
- Holy Family's first attempt came from Nicolloyd Dinham (Manchester, Jamaica/(ASA)), who missed high in the 18th minute
- Queens had six of the first seven shots, but it was Rowan forcing the first save of the night in the 32nd minute
- Myers made his first stop just over five minutes later
- Rowan also shot high in the 39th
- HFU finished with a flurry in the final minute, registering three shots over 13 seconds as blocked attempts by Christian Hernandez (Burlington City, N.J./Life Center Academy) and Dinahm sandwiched a save on Berisso
Second Half
- The Tigers came out with two shots in the opening 1:31, with Joel Richmond (Bridgetown, Barbados/Church Farm) first seeing his effort blocked before Rowan was denied once more
- Myers was forced into a stop in the 58th minute
- That was part of the final 13 attempts of the match registered by the Knights, with Myers also making saves in the 69th and 85th minutes
