Holy Family is 0-1-0 to start the season, while New York Tech begins the new year at 1-0-0.

New York Tech scored two first half goals to take a 2-0 lead by the half. The Bears received goals from senior Javier Gallardo in the 23
rd minute and freshman Carlos Coto in the 33
rd minute.

The Bears limited Holy Family to just five shots per half and went on to outshoot the Tigers, 32-10, throughout the game.Â
Senior goalkeeper
Nick Aglira (Churchville, Pa./Archbishop Wood) went on to make ten saves in net for the Tigers.

New York Tech tacked on two more goals in the second half to double its lead to 4-0. Sophomore Ben Wilson scored in 51
st minute, while junior Alex Barbosa tallied a goal in the 66
th minute.

Holy Family broke up New York Tech's bid of a shutout in the 74
th minute. Senior
Keith Crews (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) came through with his first score of the season with an unassisted goal to get the Tigers on the board.

Holy Family is back in action on Sunday, Sept. 7 as the Tigers host the University of New Haven in their home opener. Game time is slated for 2:30 p.m. at Tiger Field.
