Lafayette Hill, Pa. - The Holy Family University men's golf team finished ninth overall at the annual Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament on Wednesday afternoon at the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.
Senior
Daniel Costello (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock North) led the Tigers with a team-low score of 160 over the two-day tournament. Costello recorded a score of 82 on the par-72 course on day one and improved by four strokes on the final day to record a 78.
Fellow classmates
Robert Moratti (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) and
Charles Prendergast (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) finished 26
th and 27
th respectively. Moratti carded a score of 166 (83-83), while Prendergast finished the tournament with a 168. Prendergast recorded the team's lowest score of the tournament after wrapping up day one with a 79.

Jonathan Burns (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) (97-99--196/52
nd) and sophomore
William Loughlin (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) (102-97--199/55
th) also competed for the Tigers.
As a team, Holy Family finished ninth overall with a two-day total of 688 (341-347). Wilmington University won the tournament for the third straight season with a team tournament low-score of 611 (299-312).
Wilmington senior P.J. Tighe earned medalist honors for the second consecutive season after recording an individual low-score of 150 (74-76). Tighe edged teammate junior Jerry Temple (74-77--151) by one stroke for the top honors.
