Bethany, Del. - The Holy Family University men's golf team opened its spring schedule as the Tigers competed at the Bayside Resort Invitational hosted by Dowling College at the Bayside Resort Golf Course this past weekend.
Holy Family finished 11
th overall as a team after scoring a two-day total of 729. The Tigers highlighted the weekend with a low-team score of 360 on day one.
Wilmington University won the event with a tournament low-score of 605 (301-304). The Wildcats' Andreas Lunding earned medalist honors with an individual low score of 144 (70-74).
Senior
Daniel Costello (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock North) led the Tigers will a team-low score of 171. Costello shot an 84 on day one and followed with an 87 on day two. Costello tied with fellow classmate
Charles Prendergast (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) with a low team score of 87 on day two. Prendergast finished the two-day tournament with a score of 175 (88-87).
Senior
Robert Moratti (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) had the team's lowest score of the weekend as he finished day one with a score of 81. Moratti withdrew on day two of the tournament.
