Lyndhurst, N.J. - Junior Kevin Sinic scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime as the Holy Family University men's soccer team fell short to Felician College, 2-1, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action Saturday night.

Holy Family is now 7-7-3 overall and 4-5-2 in the CACC, while Felician improves to 3-10-1 overall and 3-6-1 in the CACC.

Junior Mike Azzato gave Felician a quick and early lead as he picked up his second goal of the season scoring on header in the fourth minute of action to give the Golden Falcons a 1-0 lead.

Holy Family eventually tied the game when junior Marc Fischer (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) scored his fourth goal of the season in the 61st minute. Sophomore Jeff Wimsey (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) assisted on the score.

The game remained tied through the rest of regulation and into overtime until Sinic scored his fourth goal of the season from 15 yards out to lift Felician to victory.

Junior goalkeeper Mark Ferretti (Voorhees, N.J./Paul VI) made seven saves in net for Holy Family as he faced 24 shots throughout the game.

Holy Family is back in action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27 for a non-conference road contest against Millersville University.
