Men’s Lacrosse Tied for Fifth in CACC Preseason Poll

The HFU Men's Lacrosse Team tied for fifth in the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Preseason Coaches Poll, released by the league offices on Thursday.

Entering their third season as a program, the Tigers more than quadrupled their win total from their inaugural campaign with nine victories in 2025.

The 2026 CACC Men's Lacrosse Season features each of the nine teams playing each other once, with four games at home and four on the road.

The top five teams in the regular season standings qualify for the CACC Tournament, which commences with the four seed hosting the five seed in the first round on April 25.

The semifinals are then set for April 29 at the one and two seed, with the final scheduled for May 2 at Wilmington.

Featuring 29 returners, Holy Family is seeking its first-ever CACC Tournament appearance.

Defending CACC Tournament champion Georgian Court was the narrow preseason favorite after receiving five of a possible eight first-place votes.

Second place Wilmington, the defending regular season champion, was just one point behind after garnering the four other top votes.

Ahead of HFU in third and fourth were Chestnut Hill and Bridgeport, while Post tied the Tigers in fifth.

Holy Family opens its 2026 campaign on Saturday, Feb. 7 at American International.
