Kara Meredith (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time in her career, the league offices announced on Monday.
She previously won the award on Feb. 5, 2024.
Meredith averaged 24.5 points on 55.2 percent shooting, which included making 50.0 percent of her 3-pointers, in a 2-0 week. She added averages of 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per game.
The junior began the week falling one point shy of doubling up every other scorer, and two points shy of a career-high, with 31 on 10-of-19 shooting, 6-of-12 triples and 5-of-6 free throws in Tuesday's win at Jefferson.
Meredith then had 18 points on 6-of-10 field goals, 3-of-6 3-pointers and 3-of-4 foul shots, to go along with team-highs of two steals and two blocks, as the Tigers defeated Felician in a battle of CACC unbeteans on Saturday.
