PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University men's track & field team won five medals at the Widener Winter Evening Invite hosted at the Ott Center on Friday.
- Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) won both the high jump and triple jump with NCAA provisionals, clearing 2.10m in the former and a school record 15.16m in the latter
- Those marks now rank 10th and fourth in Division II, respectively
- Desi Stroud (Mays Landing, N.J./ACIT) topped a field of 29 in the long jump, landing at 6.99m
- Javon Bowen (Kingston, Jamaica/Jamaica College), who won bronze in the long jump with a distance of 6.88m, also won silver in the 60m after crossing second out of 36 with a time of 6.90
- Ernest Robertson (Miami, Fla./Palmer Trinity) and Odane Smith (Saint Catherine, Jamaica/Edwin Allen) placed third and fourth in triple jump with respective distances of 14.03m and 14.02m
