How It Happened (Game 1)

* Bloomfield scored in each inning, including a five run fifth inning to lead 10-0.  The fifth inning featured a two-run double by Brianna Johnson and a three-run home run by Delanie Cruz.

* Holy Family extended the game in the fifth when the Tigers scored three runs.  Freshman Madelyn Yeager (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) drove in freshman Ashley Remington (Collegeville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) and junior Julia Vizza (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) who led the inning off with back-to-back hits.  Yeager would later score on a single to left field by senior Olivia Nolan (Shoreline, Wash./Shorecrest).

* The Bears added a run in the sixth to make the score 11-3 and Taylor Galyean retired the Tigers in order after allowing a lead off base runner in the bottom of the inning to give Bloomfield the win via the run rule being implemented.

* Cruz went 3-for-4 from the Bears with three RBI and two runs, while Johnson finished the game 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.

How It Happened (Game 2)

* Bloomfield scored all nine of its runs in the second inning to take a commanding 9-1 lead.  Cruz recorded a three-run double in the inning and Sarisha Daugherty capped the scoring with a three-run home run.

* Holy Family began its comeback in the third when the Tigers plated four runs. Four different runners provided run scoring hits in the inning as the Tigers cut the Bloomfield lead down to 9-5.

* Holy Family tacked on a single run in the fifth when sophomore Taylor Nichols (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) delivered a double to centerfield to score Remington.

* In the sixth, the Tigers tied the game and scored the go-ahead run all with two outs in the inning.  With two outs to start the inning, freshman Elaina Hansen (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) and senior Sam Klem (San Diego, Calif./Clairemont) hit back-to-back drives down the left field line.  Nolan followed with a run scoring double before Remington came through with a two-run double to tie the game at 9-9.  Senior Casey Boltersdorf (Levittown, Pa./Pennsbury) then drove in Remington with a single up the middle to give the Tigers their first lead since the first inning at 10-9.

* Remington struck out the side in the top of the seventh as she picked up her third win of the season.  She went 5.1 innings of relief as she struck out 12 batters; one shy of her season-high. Remington allowed only two hits, while allowing zero runs. At the plate she went 3-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI and two runs.

* Nichols also went 3-for-4 for the Tigers, while Boltersdorf went 2-for-4 with two RBI.  Nolan drove in a pair of runs and went 2-for-4 with two runs.
