Biography

2016 Season: Appeared and started in 43 games for the Tigers... Recorded 45 hits, two doubles and 8 home runs... Lead the team in runs batted with 37 on the year... Finished the season with a .352 batting average and a .988 fielding average... Earned second team All-CACC and was named to the NFCA All-East Region.

High School: Was a three-sport athlete, earning 11 varsity letters at Clairemont High School in volleyball, basketball and softball...On the softball field, was the four-year starting catcher and was selected as a team captain during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons....Senior season was cut short due to injury, but was awarded "Most Inspirational" by her teammates...During her freshman campaign, earned the Best Defensive Player award, Hilltop High School's All-Tournament Team and 2nd Team All-League honors...As a junior, helped lead her team to a CIF Division III San Diego City Championship where she also earned 2nd Team All CIF San Diego and 1st Team All-Western League with a .443 batting average....Clairemont High School named her Athlete of the Year during her senior year. In the classroom, Klem was an Honor Roll student, maintaining a 3.83 GPA and was the Class President....On the basketball court, led the team in steals and scoring and was awarded with the Team MVP award twice and was named the 2nd Team All-League Team in her junior and senior seasons...Was the team setter on the volleyball court and led her team in assists and was awarded the Team MVP award during her junior and senior seasons and was also selected to the 1st Team All-League Team both seasons.
