Records: Holy Family (2-18, 2-4 CACC) | Wilmington (15-8, 3-1 CACC)
Location: Bensalem, Pa. (Bensalem High School)

How It Happened (Game 1)

* Wilmington starter Caitlyn Whiteside (9-6) limited the Tigers to just two hits in a five-inning complete game.  She struck out six batters and issued just one walk.  Whiteside picked up her ninth victory of the season as the Wildcats' offense supplied her with plenty of support.

* Lauren Lopez went 4-for-4 for the Wildcats with two doubles and eight RBI to set a single game record. Alyssa Velasquez went 3-for-4, while Rosa'Lynn Burton went 2-for-4 with three runs.

* Junior Tyler Beccari (Havertown, Pa./Haverford (Temple)) and freshman Elaina Hansen (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) each went 1-for-2 in the game for the Tigers.

How It Happened (Game 2)

* In the latter game the Wilmington offense continued where it left off in game two.  The Wildcats produced 17 runs in the game, including seven in the second inning.

* Kiana Broderson Jones went 2-for-4 with three runs and three RBI.  She led the third inning off with an inside-the-park home run.  Two batters later in the inning, Angela Antonini connected on a two-run home run.

* Wilmington's Makayla McCarthy (5-2) took a no-hitter into the fifth inning.  However, junior Julia Vizza (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) broke up the no-no with one out in the inning with an infield hit to third base.  McCarthy went the distance for the Wildcats as she allowed just the one hit and struck out five.  At the plate she went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.

* Sophomore Heather Bogardus (Ridley, Pa./Ridley) was the Tigers other base runner in the game as she reached base twice with a walk and a hit-by-pitch.

All-Time Series
Today marked the 45th and 46th meeting between Holy Family and Wilmington dating back to the 2002 season.  The Tigers are now 26-20 versus the Wildcats in the all-time series during that span.
