New Haven, Conn. - Holy Family University junior Shane King (Elizabeth, N.J./Elizabeth) was selected to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending April 12 as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
 
Holy Family recently competed at the annual The College of New Jersey Invite on Saturday where King competed in the long jump event.  He came through with a jump of 21' 9" (6.63m) on his final attempt to finish second overall. 
 
King's recorded the top distance of collegiate athletes competing in the event.
 
Holy Family is back in action on Friday, April 17 as the Tigers compete at the annual CTC Outdoor Championship.  Rowan University will serve as host of the two-day event.
