The three-time defending champion HFU Men's Track & Field Team were selected to four-peat, while
Javon Bowen (Kingston, Jamaica/Jamaica College) was named the Preseason Co-Athlete of the Year, as the East Coast Conference (ECC) released its 2025-26 Indoor Track & Field Preseason Polls on Tuesday.

The Holy Family Women, who have placed in the top four in each of the last five ECC Championships, were voted to finish fourth after receiving two first-place votes.Â

The HFU Men received five of the nine first-place votes to edge out defending runner-up Roberts Wesleyan for the top spot by two pints.Â

The Redhawks garnered three top-votes, with third place Felician earning the remaining one.Â

Bowen helped the Tigers three-peat with two golds at the 2025 ECC Championship, as he landed at a championship record 7.33m in the long jump and crossed in 6.89 in the 60m. The rising senior would go on to compete at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, where he earned Second Team All-America Honors with a ninth-place finish in the long jump.Â

On the women's side, defending champion Roberts Wesleyan was tabbed the preseason favorite as it garnered four first-place votes.Â

Defending runner-up District of Columbia came in second with three top votes, while third place Felician and HFU split the remaining four.Â
