Holy Family scored the game's first goal with about a minute left to play in the first half.  Freshman Christopher Tracey (Abington, Pa./Abington), the CACC Rookie of the Week, came through with his second goal in as many games as he headed the ball into the back of the net after receiving a cross pass from freshman Connor Stackhouse (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South).  Tracey's goal came in the 44th minute as the Tigers took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

Georgian Court would go on to tie the game at 1-1 in the 56th minute after freshman Michael Clarke scored his team-leading fifth goal of the season.  Freshman Ryan Peters was credited with the assist on the score.

Five minutes later, Holy Family regained the lead after Georgian Court scored an 'own' goal into its own net.  In an attempt clear, the Georgian Court defender knocked the ball off the right goal post into the back of the net.

Holy Family tacked on an insurance goal later in the half when senior Ahmed Elgayar (Philadelphia, Pa./Central) converted a penalty kick after Georgian Court fouled inside the box.  Elgayar's second goal of the season came in the 77th minute to give the Tigers a 3-1 advantage.

Junior goalkeeper Nick Aglira (Churchville, Pa./Archbishop Wood) made eight saves in net for the Tigers after facing 17 shots by the Lions.   For Georgian Court, junior Ryan Gentil made seven stops in net in 68:13 minutes of action, while freshman Brian Hochstuhl made two saves after relieving Gentil in the 2nd half.
