Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) has been named the 2025-26 Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association (Philly-SIDA) Academic All-Area Women's Basketball Performer of the Year, as voted on by the athletic communications offices from the 30 institutions in the Philadelphia Area.
The senior was joined on the five-women 2025-26 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Women's Basketball Team by fellow classmate
Skyler Searfoss (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe Area).
In order to be selected for the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Women's Basketball team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore academically, a starter or significant reserve on their institution's women's basketball team and have a grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
A member of the 2024-25 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Team, Hinkle was voted a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-American and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Year in 2025-26, after ranking third in Division II with 12.2 rebounds per game and fourth with 21 double-doubles.
The fifth Academic All-American in HFU history, she graduated this past weekend with her Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration and Management after sporting a cumulative 3.91 grade point average (GPA).
The recipient of the Elite Scholar-Athlete award at the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship, Searfoss earned the honor of being named the valedictorian at graduation after finishing with a perfect 4.0 GPA as she worked toward her Bachelor of Arts in Sports Marketing-Management.
On the court, she received her third All-CACC accolade after leading the league and ranking 15th nationally with a 2.2 assist to turnover ratio.
The duo helped Holy Family became the first women's basketball team in CACC history to win the East Regional and advance to the Elite Eight in 2025-26.
The Tigers finished 30-5 overall, the third 30-win campaign in program history, as well as 20-0 in the CACC to become the eighth women's basketball team in the league's Division II era to complete an undefeated league season.
