Women’s Basketball’s Taylor Hinkle Becomes HFU’s Fifth Academic All-American

Women's Basketball's Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) became the fifth HFU student-athlete to be voted Academic All-America®, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), it was announced on Wednesday. 
 
Sarah Ambach (2013), Danielle McDevitt (2014), Taurai Augstin (2016 and 2018) and Jacqueline Ziegler (2021) were the previous Tigers to earn the distinction. 
 
The CSC Academic All-America® Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. 
 
Hinkle ranked third in Division II in rebounds per game (12.2) and rebounds (428), as well as fourth in defensive rebounds per game (8.5), all of which are now the single-season program records. 
 
She was also fourth nationally with 21 double-doubles. 
 
In addition to leading the HFU in rebounding, Hinkle's team-leading 14.1 points per game was 10th in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), and she was fifth in the league with a 76.5 free throw percentage. 
 
Academically, she sports a 3.91 cumulative grade point average as a Healthcare Administration and Management major. 
 
Holy Family became the first women's basketball team in CACC history to win the East Regional and advance to the Elite Eight in 2025-26. 
 
The Tigers finished 30-5 overall, the third 30-win campaign in program history, as well as 20-0 in the CACC to become the eighth women's basketball team in the league's Division II era to complete an undefeated league season.
