Flag Football Sweeps Tri-Match with Marywood and Centenary

SCRANTON, Pa. – The Holy Family University Flag Football Team picked up its first two wins of the season in emphatic fashion, defeating Marywood (52-0) and Centenary (40-19) on Sunday. 
 
Marywood
Aalyce Davis (Philadelphia, Pa./Bethel Baptist Academy) accounted for seven touchdowns, throwing for two, rushing for two, catching two and returning an interception to the end zone. She totaled 181 yards from scrimmage and completed all three of her pass attempts for 55 yards.  
 
Alannis Clavel-Lopez (Philadelphia, Pa./Abraham Lincoln) led all players with 103 rushing yards, on six attempts, as she scored twice, while Morgan Sims (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) completed all four of her passing attempts for 93 yards and a touchdown. 
 
Defensively, Kaitlyn Cannon (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) pulled a game and season-high seven flags, while Sims and Alexis Tina McLeod (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) joined Davis in intercepting passes. 
 
Centenary
Davis rushed for 80 yards and three scores, while Clavel-Lopez added 79 more on the ground, along with a touchdown. 
 
Sims threw another touchdown, while Kierann Cusick (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) threw the first of her career, with Saviyah Campbell (Philadelphia, Pa./Reach Cyber Charter School) and Anajah Archer (Philadelphia, Pa./Hill Freedman World Academy) on the receiving end of their first career scores. 
 
Campbell also intercepted a pass, while breaking up two more. 
 
Delaney Minnich (Philadelphia, Pa./Abraham Lincoln) tied a team-high with three flag pulls.
