SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. - The Holy Family University Flag Football Team swept a second consecutive tri-match, defeating Chestnut Hill 45-6 and host Penn State Schuylkill 21-7 on Wednesday night.
Chestnut Hill
Morgan Sims (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another, while
Aalyce Davis (Philadelphia, Pa./Bethel Baptist Academy) had a game-high 90 yards rushing and two scores.
Kierann Cusick (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) rushed for her first two career touchdowns, while
Kylie Cooley (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Huberts Catholic) and
Bernadette Erb (Cape May, N.J./Lower Cape May Regional) caught their first.
Cooley also led all players with seven flag pulls, two of which were for loss, while Cusick added four tackles and four pass breakups.
Kaitlyn Cannon (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) topped the Tigers with 36 receiving yards.
Penn State
Alannis Clavel-Lopez (Philadelphia, Pa./Abraham Lincoln) led all players with 90 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Davis added a score on the ground and through the air, completing a touchdown to
Alexis Tina McLeod (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan).
Anajah Archer (Philadelphia, Pa./Hill Freedman World Academy) recorded a team-high 46 receiving yards.
For the second straight game, Cooley and Cusick led the defense in flag pulls with four apiece.
