WILMINGTON, Del. – The Holy Family University Women's Basketball Team recorded 24 offensive rebounds and outscored the Lightning 28-1 in second chance points in an 84-53 victory at Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday evening.
Individual Highlights
- Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) and Lauren Palangio (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) both registered double-doubles with game-highs of 14 points and 10 rebounds
- It was Hinkle's ninth double-double of the season, while Palangio made 6-of-7 field goals en route to the first of her career
- Claire Dougherty (Lehman, Pa./Lake-Lehman) fell one board shy of her second career double-double with 10 points and a team-high four assists
- Amy Ngo (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) and Maya Hill (Wilmington, Del./Delaware Military Academy) led all players with two steals apiece

How it Happened
- Goldey-Beacom opened the scoring, but HFU responded with the next nine points – five of which were by Hinkle – and led the rest of the way
- The Lightning cut the deficit to one, 9-8, only to have Palangio start and end nine in a row for an 18-8 edge in the final minute of the first quarter
- The cushion remained three-plus possessions until GBC began the second half with the first four points, pulling within 30-35 and then 32-38 in the first 2:13 of the third
- The Tigers responded with an 18-6 run to close the period, highlighted by six Palangio points, to take control
