Women’s Track & Field Ties Program Record with Fourth Straight Second Place Finish at CACC Championships

LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The HFU women's track & field team tied a program record for the fourth year in a row as it placed second at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships hosted at Georgian Court on May 2-3.

The Tigers' 95 points were 14.5 clear of third place Goldey-Beacom.

Felician won the title with 222.

Ocelia Jones (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica/Maggotty) swept the hurdles events, posting respective times of 14.73 and 1:02.63
- Holy Family swept the 400m hurdles podium, with Danalee Brock (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica/STETHS (University of Mary)) (1:02.63) and Brianna Coates (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) (collegiate PR 1:04.50) crossing second and third
- Brock (15.69) and Coates (15.96) also finished fourth and fifth in the 100m hurdles for a total of 43 points in the hurdle events
Jahtivya Williams (British Virgin Islands/Seventh-Day Adventist (Northern Michigan)) crossed first in the 100m, in 12.43, and third in the 200m, in a school record 24.94, for 16 points
- O. Jones (12.88) and Kahdia Jones (Daytona Beach, Fla./Atlantic) (13.02) were fifth and seventh in the 100m as the Tigers totaled 16 points
Lesedi Anyika (/), Brock, Jade Jones (Jamaica/Hydel) and O. Jones won gold in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:54.49, while Williams, K. Jones, Brock and Katelyn Perazzola (Warner Robins, Ga./Mount de Sales Academy) combined to finish the 4x100m relay in 47.77 for silver
Emma McNamee (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) finished one spot of the podium, completing the 10000m in 46:09.36, and she was also eighth in the 5000m with a time of 21:14.87 for six points
Sydonia Turner (Philadelphia, Pa./Northeast) was fifth in the long jump, marking at 5.24m for four points
Perazzola (26.53) placed seventh in 200m, while Anyika (1:01.97) was eighth in the 400m
