LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The HFU men's track & field team posted its fourth straight top three finish at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships hosted at Georgian Court on May 2-3. 

First through third place was separated by just 6.5 points, with Goldey-Beacom (127 points) narrowly holding off Georgian Court (125) and the Tigers (120.5).
 

• Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) won the high jump with a CACC Championship record, clearing an NCAA provisional of 2.15m
  • He was also second in the triple jump (14.62m) and fourth in the long jump (6.94m) for a total of 23 points
• Odane Smith (Saint Catherine, Jamaica/Edwin Allen) won the long jump, landing at 7.18m, and was third in triple jump, marking at 14.50m, earning 16 points
• Alexson Songor (Upper Darby, Pa./Upper Darby) qualified for two finals, crossing first in the 800m, in 1:54.41, and eighth in the 200m, in 23.51, for 11 points
• Raqeeb Somoye (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) qualified for the final in both hurdle events, finishing second in the 110m (collegiate PR 14.89) and sixth in the 400m (57.22) for 11 points as well
  • JoJo Smith (Kingston, Jamaica/Edwin Allen) (15.15) claimed bronze in the 110m, while Ernest Robertson (Miami, Fla./Palmer Trinity) (1:17.43) was eighth in the 400m to give HFU 18 points in the hurdles­­
• Isaiah Davenport (Pleasantville, N.J./Pleasantville) joined Pierre on the high jump podium, placing third with a clearance of 2.00m, while Skyler Salay (Burlington Township, N.J./Burlington Township) (1.95m) was sixth to bring the Tigers' point total to 19 points in the event
• Holy Family also totaled 19 points in the triple jump as Robertson marked fourth at 14.45m, and he was sixth in the long jump (collegiate PR 6.73m), to give the Tigers 18 points
• Micah Walker (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) placed in the top four of both the discus (43.18m) and hammer (45.76m), winning bronze in the former, earning 11 points
• The 4x400m relay team of Somoye, La'Marc Rex (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest), Jonathan Hackshaw (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman (Monroe College)) and Songor won silver in 3:18.65, while the 4x100m relay team of Corey Thomas (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest), Wooslyn Harvey (Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands/Jamaica College), Salay and O. Smith combined for bronze in 42.35
• Hackshaw (1:57.91) and Andrae Johnson (Egg Harbor City, N.J./Oakcrest) (1:59.05) set new collegiate PRs in the 800m, finishing fifth and sixth for 17 points with Songor's gold 
• Thelonius Lucien (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Success Academy High School of the Liberal Arts) completed the 1500m in 4:06.79 to cross sixth, while Thomas was eighth in the 100m with a time of 11.29
