BENSALEM, Pa. – The HFU softball team clinched a fifth consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament berth with an 11-9 game two triumph at Caldwell on Tuesday.

As either the six or the seven seed, the Tigers will travel to either second-seeded Wilmington or third-seeded Goldey-Beacom for the first round on Saturday. That will be determined when the regular season ends on Thursday.
Individual Highlights
- Rylee Hobel (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) had two hits in both games, finishing the doubleheader 4-for-9 with a run, while Kylee Jones (Hulmeville, Pa./Neshaminy (Rider)) reached base multiple times in both games to finish 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, a double and a walk
- Lily Hoban (Millsboro, Del./Indian River) and Madison Grubb (Swedesboro, N.J./Kingsway) both went 3-for-5 with a double in the nightcap, with Hoban scoring three times
- Erin Stilton (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Liberty) drove in three, as both she and Sam Ciasullo (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) homered as part of a two-hit performance
- Paige Tidaback (Carteret, N.J./St. Thomas Aquinas) improved to 5-4 on the mound, while Kinsley Hall (Frankford, Del./Indian River) earned her first collegiate save with 1.1 innings of scoreless relief

Game Two
- Holy Family led throughout after three-run first that featured five hits, beginning with back-to-back singles by Hobel and Grubb
- Following the first out, the Tigers got three consecutive RBI base knocks from Ciasullo (double), Lauren Hagy (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) (single) and Stilton (double)
- The Tigers scored in each of their first four at-bats, building an 8-2 edge through three and a half frames, before Stilton's two-run homer to make it 10-5 in the top of the sixth proved to be necessary insurance as the game winner
- Caldwell brought the tying run the plate in fourth, fifth and sixth but could not get it on base until there were two outs in the seventh, when Hall induced a game-ending pop up

- The Cougars scored seven of its eight runs in its first two at-bats in a 1-8 final
