PHILADELPHIA – Left fielder
Jalen David (Bronx, N.Y./St. Raymond) ended game two by throwing out a runner at the plate to secure HFU baseball a 4-3 triumph over College of Staten Island on Sunday afternoon at Father Judge High School.
The Dolphins had won game one 1-9.
Holy Family led 4-2 entering the seventh but CSI loaded the bases with one out, before
Brian Williams (Glenside, Pa./Roman Catholic (Bucks County CC)) came on to induce a fielder's choice that cut the deficit to one.
The Dolphins then came through with a potential game-winning hit, but it was David securing the victory with a throw to catcher
Emidio Bucci (Gambrills, Md./Loyola Blakefield (York College)).

How it Happened
Game Two
- HFU quickly bounced back from the loss with a two-run bottom-half that featured Comer's triple, a Jephson Hadson-Taylor (Cheltenham, Pa./La Salle College (University of Maine)) walk and Leo's two-RBI single
- CSI got on the board with an unearned run in the third, but the Tigers erased that on back-to-back two-out hits by Marc Garcia (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area Senior (Keystone College)) (single) and Griffin Richardson (Warminster, Pa./Greenville (Bucks County CC)) (double) in the bottom-half
- Holy Family then added the game-winning run with more clutch two-out hitting in the fifth, as David tripled and Comer followed with a single
